This Zhisa teapot is superbly crafted with two layers:an inner layer which forms the basic part of the body, and an outer layer which is for decorative purpose. The main theme of the teapot is bamboo trunks. On the outer layer there are eight bamboo trunks, each is decorated with bamboo leaf patterns. The lid is a bamboo shoot with leaves around. The spout and handle are bamboo branches.

At the bottom there is a seal depicting the Dao-Kwang period of the Qing Dynasty.

This Zhisa teapot comes with a silk-lined box specially made for it.
