(or some spell it as zisha) is the name given to the unique clay
that is found in a small town named Yi-Xing in the province of Jiangsu,
China. Zhisa means "Purple clay" because of the unique
color of the clay. Teapots made from zhisa clay had a long history,
dating back to the Sung Dynasty (960 - 1279).
